This position is for the PARKRANGER Support team, providing support to users of the PARKRANGER application to users lcoally and in the field. Requires a solid foundation in Linux administration and comfort with the command line; good communication and troubleshooting skills; scripting experience - being able to read and modify existing scripts; creating new scrips would be ideal. As the new version of PR progresses on the development side, there will also be a need/opportunity to do some user testing of the product.
Skills Needed:
1) Solid Linux administration experience, including familiar with command line, troubleshooting, etc.
2) XML scripting
3) Good written/verbal communication and customer service experience - this position fields requests for support from a variety of external stakeholders on a daily basis, and requires clear, concise communication via email, ticketing, chat and/or phone
In addition to Linux and XML experience, 1) Familiar with Oracle DB 2) Hardware knowledge 3) Detail-oriented 4) Problem-solver 5) self-starter/proactive
