This position is responsible for building highly scalable and highly performant code to process huge volumes of data in an extremely short time frame in public cloud. As a Software Engineer, you will be hands on in every stage of development – designing the application, doing code changes, building automated tests, setting up CI/CD for deploying into Cloud. You will get hands on development in multiple programming languages – C#, Java, Python – and also in public cloud.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Work on multiple programming languages like C#, Java
• Actively participate in DevOps activities like building CI/CD pipelines in public cloud
• Build automation scripts in languages like Python
• Work on UI technologies like Angular
• Ensure that code is built with TDD
• Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
• Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;

Job Requirements: 

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience of related professional experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred
• Strong programming experience in C# and or Java Preferred

Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience in Technology;

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

• Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time) Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force; 
• Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions; 
• Subject to inside environmental conditions; and 
• Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes
