The Senior Development Operations Engineer will strive to advance our “Automate Everything” program.  This role will drive the implementation of our no touch CI/CD pipeline through design, and construction, and implementation.  Additionally this role will mentor junior staff on the CICD pipeline.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Seek opportunities to automate CI/CD pipeline and remove waste; 
• Provide emergency support as necessary, including after-hours; 
• Linux using Automation and Configuration systems;   
• Experience with web security and patching strategies; 
• Experience with cloud backup strategies; 
• Application clustering/load balancing concepts and technologies; 
• Use build and release automation tools (Artifactory, Chef, Docker, DynamoDB, Elastic Load Balancers, GIT, Jenkins, Kracken, Kubernetes, Lambda, Maven, MSBuild, and VMware) to deliver timely builds and deployments to development, integration and user testing labs; 
• Automate deployments using PowerShell or other tools for command line scripting; 
• Contribute to the toolset vision for the configuration and automated deployment; 
• Work with development, QA, product management, and production Ops teams to deliver on-time and high-quality deployment; 

Job Requirements: 

• 5-7 years of experience in Build and Release engineering, scripting and automation in a Unix and Windows environment; 
• Demonstrated track record of DevOps working on on-prem, AWS; and Azure; 
• Demonstrates high personal integrity and ability to earn trust from others; 
• Familiarity with Oracle databases, PL/SQL and Toad; 
• Deep understanding of Development Operations culture and methodology, continuous integration and delivery through automation; 

• Understand all the dependencies related to the build, seek solutions, follow processes (can be manual in the beginning) to ensure delivery; 
• Supports the implementation and adoption of new Agile standards, methodologies and tools; 
• Takes intelligent risks and learns from failure; 
• Experience automating from code commit to QA and Prod while employing BVT’s, Blue/Green, Canary approaches, etc.; 
• Understanding 6C’s of Development Operations and ability to contribute to all of those areas; 

• Experience in Azure services, as well as ELK Stack frameworks; 
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS; 
• Strong technical leadership skills; 
• Strong communication skills; 
• Strong teamwork skills for cross group cooperation; 

• Strong technical knowledge across the industry; 
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complexities and how components connect and relate to each other;

Education: 

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field;
